This state approved Pyramid Model training content addresses theory and evidence based practices to enhance the social and emotional competence of children ages birth through 6. The content aligns with the Pyramid Model framework — a multi-leveled system of support to address child development in critical areas important to school readiness, including social and emotional development. Children who enter school with social and emotional competence demonstrate higher academic achievement. The training provides many examples and concrete strategies for how to use recommended practices daily with young children and their families.

This 8-part series will be held across 4 Saturdays from 9:00 AM-3:30 PM:

  1. Saturday, 4/18
  2. Saturday, 5/02
  3. Saturday, 5/16
  4. Saturday, 5/30

We will have a 30 minute lunch break between each 3 hour session. Attendance at all 4 dates is required to achieve Registry credit.

*This training is available at a reduced price and made possible by funds from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.
