Since 2012, I’ve been proud to be a part of The Parenting Place. I supervise our Parent Education and Birth to 3 Departments and provide other supports for our agency and staff. What better work could there be than to boost the efforts of the parents, caregivers, and staff who strive every day to ensure that children have a safe and happy childhood. I particularly enjoy watching parents re-discover real play as they attend our parent-child play groups or our annual Children’s Festival. I learn something new every day from the work our staff do to advance the Five for Families Protective Factors for parents and families.
